1. Who we are

  • Operator: ongrid.design is operated by Ongrid Design LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India (LLPIN ADC-2788). It acts through its designated partners.
  • Place of business: our design studio is at 1st Floor, Vitoria Shopping Complex, Shop 212 & 213, Kalyani Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra 411006. Visits are by appointment only.
  • Wording: in these terms, "Ongrid Design", "we", "us" and "our" mean Ongrid Design LLP. "You" means the person using the site or buying from us.

2. These terms

  1. By using ongrid.design, creating an account, or buying from us, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
  2. Design projects: for a design project, your quotation and any service agreement you sign set out the project-specific scope, fee, timeline and deliverables. If they conflict with these terms, the quotation or service agreement applies to that project.
  3. Changes: we may update these terms. We publish every change here with a new "last updated" date, and changes take effect when published.
  4. Signed projects: a project already under a signed quotation or service agreement continues under that document's terms until it is complete.
  5. Earlier terms: earlier versions of this website's terms named "M/s Utopian Fold" as the operator. From the effective date above, the website and all sales through it are operated by Ongrid Design LLP.

3. Who can use the site

  • Age: you must be 18 or older to create an account or buy from us. The site is not directed at children.
  • Accounts: Your email address or mobile number, and a one-time password, when you sign in. We send the code by email, or by SMS through Airtel. Keep access to your phone secure, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Accuracy: give us accurate information. We may suspend or close an account that is used unlawfully, fraudulently or in breach of these terms. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you why.

4. What we offer

  1. Design services: architectural and interior design, delivered remotely from our Pune studio by our design team, which includes registered architects. We produce designs and drawings. We do not construct, supervise construction, or supply materials.
  2. Building permission:
  • You appoint and pay a local municipal architect or licensed professional to apply for building permission.
  • Where your package includes it, we coordinate the design information and the responses with them.
  • Permission itself is decided by the local authority, and we cannot guarantee it.
  1. Calculators and reports: cost estimates, planning ranges and reports produced by our tools are indicative estimates for early planning. They are not quotations, valuations, structural certification or professional advice for construction, and actual costs will vary.
  2. Digital resources: sample sets, ebooks and other downloads, as described on each resource page.

5. Prices and payment

  • Prices: shown in Indian rupees. Where GST applies, it is shown so that you can see the total you will pay.
  • Payment options for design services, both set out in your quotation:
  • four instalments (40/30/20/10);
  • full upfront payment with 15% off the professional fee.
  • How you pay: We do not take payments on this website at launch. When online payment is offered it will be processed by Razorpay, and we will not see or store your full card or bank details. Refunds for online purchases, when offered, go back through the payment provider to the original payment method.
  • Buying: you buy only by an action you take yourself, such as clicking to pay. We never use pre-ticked boxes to make a purchase for you.
  • Cancellations and refunds follow our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

6. Your deliverables and our content

  1. Ownership: Ongrid Design LLP owns the copyright in the website and in the designs, drawings and documents we create, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  2. Your licence to deliverables: once you have paid for them, you may use the files we deliver to you to design, get approved, build, furnish and maintain the property named in your quotation. You may also share them with your consultants, municipal architect and contractors for that purpose. You may not reuse them for another property, or sell or publish them, without our written permission.
  3. Our portfolio: we may show the designs, drawings and photographs of completed spaces from our projects in our portfolio, on this website and on social media. We will show your name, your face or your property's exact address only with your written consent.
  4. Website content: the text, images and tools on this site are covered by our Content Licence.

7. Using the site properly

You agree not to:

  • break the law using the site;
  • try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours;
  • disrupt the site;
  • copy or scrape it in bulk;
  • upload anything harmful;
  • pretend to be someone else;
  • use our content in ways the Content Licence does not allow.

8. Other websites and services

The site may link to other websites, and uses service providers such as Razorpay for payments, when online payment is offered. We are not responsible for other websites' content or practices.

9. Our responsibility to you

  1. Our standard: we provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
  2. Estimates and information: the site and its information are provided as they are. Estimates and general information are not guaranteed to be complete or exact.
  3. Cap: to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you in connection with a project is limited to the fees you have paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit or rent.
  4. Your rights: nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Events beyond anyone's control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside reasonable control, such as natural disasters, epidemics, government action, or major power or network outages. We will tell you promptly and agree a way forward.

11. Complaints and disputes

  1. Complaints: raise any complaint with our Grievance Officer (see our Contact and Grievance page). We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month.
  2. Talking first: if a dispute is not resolved that way, we will both try in good faith to settle it by discussion for 30 days.
  3. Consumers: if you are a consumer, you can always approach the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or file a complaint before the Consumer Commission where you live or work, including online through e-Jagriti. Nothing in these terms takes that right away.
  4. Governing law and courts: these terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to point 3, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.

12. General

  • Severability: if any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
  • Waiver: our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment: you may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent.

Construction Planner Member use

You must be at least 18 years old to use Construction Planner Member features. By continuing as a Member, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

The Construction Planner is an early affordability planning tool. It is not a quote, tender, valuation, sanction estimate, measured bill of quantities, or a promise of final construction cost. Low, likely, and high values are planning scenarios. They are not accuracy percentages or guarantees.

You may edit project facts, create working scenarios, save immutable named versions, compare scenarios, and explicitly request a report. You cannot edit the planner's rates, formulas, source selection, or model coefficients. Viewing, saving, comparing, downloading, or emailing a planner result does not create a Project Start enquiry or marketing consent.

Detailed Member interactions automatically enter the separately governed research process described in the Privacy Policy. This use does not require a separate research modal. Closing your account starts the deletion process described in the Privacy Policy.
